Braking in an emergency on classic Jaguars was always a hit & miss affair. The original Dunlop/Girling piston cylinders never provided the quality of braking that classic Jaguars needed.
Our conversion kits give you increased braking pressure and will therefore make your classic Jaguar stop faster for today’s driving conditions.
NON-VENTED FRONT BRAKE KIT
This 4 pot conversion kit fits straight on to your suspension uprights without any modification, utilising the original solid brake discs and brake hoses. This is a quick and easy conversion to fit and is supplied complete with brake pads.
It gives a 90% larger pad area, stainless steel pistons and a modern seal design. These kits include a pair of new 4 pot calipers and a set of pads with pipes where applicable.

VENTED FRONT BRAKE KIT
We recommend this upgrade for the more enthusiastic driver as the vented discs create more efficiency under increasingly arduous use. These brakes will take track days or mountain work in their stride and will transform the braking performance and feel of the car.

FRONT DRUM TO DISC CONVERSION
This system has been exclusively designed to replace the original drum brakes fitted to early XK’s and saloons. It is easily fitted with no modifications necessary and is compatible with the standard hydraulic system. This allows the discerning classic Jaguar driver to experience a dramatic transformation in the feel and response of their car. The calipers are available in top quality zinc-plated cast iron or aero specification billet aluminium for increased performance
This high performance brake kit will convert your front drum brakes to our up-rated disc system, fits wire or steel wheels and includes:
2 new cast-iron or billet aluminium 4-piston calipers
2 steel caliper mounting plates
2 XK 150 discs
2 front wire wheel (or steel wheel) hubs as applicable
2 stainless steel braided flexi hose pipes

REAR PISTON CYLINDER UPGRADE
This brake kit has been designed to replace the original Dunlop cylinder assemblies, easily fitted to the original carriers and retaining your original handbrake mechanism. The cylinders incorporate a modern style seal and piston and are designed to work in conjunction with our uprated front brake kits.
They are available in steel with a smart zinc plated finish and stainless steel pistons as shown below.

MK2 REAR BRAKE CONVERSION KIT
Upgrade your rear brakes to a later 2 pot cast iron caliper which is a direct replacement for the unreliable original piston and cylinder assemblies. These calipers retain your original handbrake mechanisms and use a later rear pad which is supplied along with the pins & clips.

VENTED REAR BRAKE CONVERSION KIT
Our new vented disc conversion tremendously reduces rear brake fade due to heat dissipation and uses XJS pads. Output shaft oil seals are subjected to less heat damage and will have a longer life. Used on 6-cylinder E-Types in conjunction with our front vented disc conversion the transformation is extraordinary.
The conversion kit includes 2 vented brake discs, 2 reconditioned calipers, 10 disc nuts, 2 handbrake adjuster screws and bronze forks
